A lasting solution that restores comfort and confidence

Enlarged labia minora that protrude noticeably beyond the labia majora are something many women perceive as an aesthetic concern — and often as a practical limitation too: during sport, especially running or cycling, on longer walks, in tight clothing, and sometimes during intimacy. Labiaplasty — the surgical removal of the excess tissue — offers an elegant, permanent solution to this aesthetic and health concern, restoring comfort, confidence, and a sense of your own attractiveness.

It's right for you if…

  • your labia minora protrude noticeably and you perceive it as an aesthetic concern,
  • you feel limited during sport — typically running or cycling — or on longer walks,
  • tight clothing is uncomfortable for you, and sometimes intimacy as well,
  • you are at least 18 years old.
  • We do not perform the procedure before the age of 18.
Our approach

Incisions in the natural folds, dissolvable stitches

The surgeon first marks out precisely how much excess tissue to remove for the best possible result. The incisions run within the natural skin folds so that any scars remain out of sight, and the wounds are closed with dissolvable stitches that do not need to be removed.

The procedure is known for its immediate effect and uncomplicated course — it is performed on an outpatient basis, and you go home straight afterwards.

It all starts with a consultation

Before the procedure you will have a discreet consultation with the surgeon: they assess whether labiaplasty is right for your case and explain the placement of the incisions, the course of the procedure, and the aftercare. It is best to schedule the procedure just after your period, and no later than two weeks before the next one — for the sake of healing. The consultation is free and carries no obligation.

Five steps to lasting comfort

The procedure is performed in an operating theatre, in the gynaecological position, under sterile conditions and local anaesthesia. It takes approximately 45–60 minutes, and you go home straight afterwards.

  1. 01

    Marking the extent

The surgeon first marks out precisely how much excess tissue to remove for the best possible result.

  2. 02

    Local anaesthesia

Using a fine needle, they numb the marked area with a local anaesthetic. The numbing itself is usually the most uncomfortable part of the whole procedure — afterwards you feel only touch.

  3. 03

    Removing the excess skin

Once the area is numb, the surgeon removes the excess skin of the labia minora and stops any bleeding.

  4. 04

    Dissolvable stitches

The wounds are closed with dissolvable stitches that do not need to be removed — they fall out on their own in about 3 weeks.

  5. 05

    Going home

The whole procedure takes approximately 45–60 minutes, and you can go home straight afterwards.

What to expect after the procedure

Day 0

You go home straight after the procedure. At home, it is best to lie down rather than sit for long periods; for the first few days, apply the disinfectant ointment you receive from us to the wounds.

Week 1

Take it easy and maintain increased intimate hygiene — wash after every visit to the toilet; you can also rinse with a disinfectant soap. If possible, leave the intimate area uncovered.

Weeks 1–2

Larger, often asymmetrical swelling and bruising subside within about 10 days — how things look right after surgery has nothing to do with the final result. You return to work and everyday activities.

Day 14

You come in for your first check-up. The dissolvable stitches fall out on their own in about 3 weeks; if you prefer, we can remove them at the check-up.

Weeks 4–6

You return to sport in about 4 weeks and to intimacy in 4–6 weeks — always depending on how the healing progresses.

The final result is assessed once the swelling has fully subsided — in about 3 months. Healing varies from person to person; always pace your return to activities according to your surgeon's advice.

Discomfort during sport, in tight clothing, and in intimate life can take away confidence. Labiaplasty gives it back.

Labiaplasty pricing

The price is per side. Treating both sides is not double the price — it is discounted.

  • Labiaplasty — one side 590 €
  • Labiaplasty — both sides 800 €

The price includes local anaesthesia, the procedure itself, and follow-up check-ups. You receive a disinfectant ointment for wound care from us right after the procedure.

These prices apply to procedures from 1 January 2027. If your procedure is booked for 2026, the price quoted when you booked still applies.

We speak openly with you

With careful adherence to the post-operative rest regimen and increased intimate hygiene, the wounds usually heal very well — and complications can be avoided.

If minor complications do occur — such as wound separation, infection, or bleeding — they usually require no special measures; they simply prolong the healing time.

Three weeks before the procedure

To avoid unnecessary bruising after the procedure, do not take any preparations that affect blood clotting for about 3 weeks beforehand — medicines containing salicylic acid, Paralen (paracetamol), or enzyme preparations such as Wobenzym.

If you take warfarin or a similar medication, please discuss its use with your prescribing doctor.

A smooth post-operative course also depends on not having any acute illness in the 2 weeks before the procedure.

Frequently asked questions — labiaplasty

For all women aged 18 and over who are unhappy with the size of their labia — whether for aesthetic reasons or because of limitations during sport, in clothing, or in intimate life.
For the sake of healing, it is best to schedule the procedure just after your period, and no later than two weeks before the next one.
No. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia — using a fine needle, the surgeon injects a sufficient amount of local anaesthetic into the marked area of skin, numbing the entire operated area. Throughout the procedure you feel no pain, only touch. The numbing itself is usually the most uncomfortable part of the whole procedure.
You may feel some pain in the first days after the operation — an ordinary over-the-counter painkiller is usually all you need.
Yes — expect larger, asymmetrical swelling of the labia as well as bruising. Because of the swelling, the labia and the vaginal opening will look completely different at first — but how things look right after surgery has nothing to do with the final result. The swelling subsides within about 10 days, though this is entirely individual.
You will see the final result in about 3 months, once the swelling has fully subsided.
The dissolvable stitches should fall out in about 3 weeks, though it can sometimes take a little longer. If you prefer, we can remove them at your first check-up after the procedure, i.e. after 14 days.
During the operation, the incisions are placed within the natural skin folds so that any scars remain out of sight.
You can return to everyday activities — and therefore to work — in 1–2 weeks. To sport in about 4 weeks; it always depends on the healing, which is entirely individual.
In about 4–6 weeks — it depends on the healing, which is entirely individual.
No. The function of the operated area remains intact after the procedure — labiaplasty has no effect on sensitivity or sexual sensation.
